Essence Cosmetics❤

Hey Dolls!!I’m here again with a review on a really exciting makeup brand with incredible prices ta-da...Essence Cosmetics!!!Essence is part of a German company/brand and they’ve got a ton of different products with so many colors and shades to choose from.I first discovered Essence at my Shoppers Drug Mart(Canadian)and I’ve been hooked on it ever since.Prior to this review,I already owned and use a few of their products and I’m totally impressed with the quality.Everything is such a bargain;from their eyeshadows to lipglosses to blushes, mascaras, liners and lipsticks there’s so much to play and fall in love with.

(Bubble Babe,Red Blossom,Timeless Beauty,Nude Candy)  *First pic is with flash and the second pic’s without*

Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss:They go on quite sheer with just a hint of colour and they smell really nice.Even though they are loaded with shimmer,it’s very subtle and hardly noticeable.I also like the long doe foot applicator which ensures even application of product on the lips.My fave is Nude Candy which is creamy baby pink  and wears well with any lipstick. These lip-glosses are not sticky at all and are about $2 dollars + some change.WIN!

Ultimate Pink,Break Through,Lime Up,Walk On The Wild Side

Essence Colour & Go Nail Polishes:Let’s admit it ladies….we all know we rarely finish a full size bottle of nail polish so the size of these nail polishes are perfect. You get good cover with just one coat(but it’s always better to do two coats for even application)and application is easy as well.Awesome color range & finishes to choose from. They do dry quick and don’t chip too fast surprisingly.I’ve had Lime Up on my nails for over a week now and it’s still going strong. Just so you know, swatches are with no base or top coat.

John Lemon, Shrimp Me Up,Party All Night,Dance All Night, Black Goddess

Essence Eyeshadows:Gosh! The eye-shadows are my fave products from the brand.Good quality, great pigmentation,super-duper inexpensive-what’s not to love? These apply well but there’s a bit of fall outs with some of the shadows. Not a big deal in my opinion since they stay on pretty decent even without a base. They are available in shimmer/sparkling/metallic finishes.Highly highly recommend.(Shadows shown in the first row is without flash and swatches at the bottom is also without flash)

 Midnight In Paris

Essence Gel Eyeliner:Who doesn’t like a good creamy matte gel liner?I know I do.Long-wear gel liner, safe to wear on eye-lids and waterline. This is also a good base for eyeshadowss.I don’t have anything bad to say about this….I love all of Essence liners(pic below) They glide on easy and give the right amount of intensity.

Essence Liquid Eyeliner,Essence Eyeliner Pen,Essence Eye Pencil,Essence Powder Eyeliner & Shadow

PS:I’m not a big fan of the powder eyeliner & shadow–lacks pigmentation and it’s kinda chalky.Boooo:(

Another amazing product from Essence is their lipstick in Creamy Nude which you can read more about  in this post.

Doll Notes:Essence Cosmetics was kind enough to send me some of their products for review.I’m not being paid for this and all opinions are honest and my own.I’ll  also be giving away some products from the brand so follow me on FACEBOOK  to see how you can win :)

Great post. I’ve only ever tried an Essence nail polish (that I got at Ulta), but I’ll have to check out their other products.

I have been using essence products for a while now, since I live in Europe we have had them around for a while. And I am almost always impressed by their quality. So much so, that a lot of my products come from them. I especially love the gel-eyeliner though. It’s really waterproof and doesn’t smudge unless you rub really hard.
I also love their mousse foundation, it’s pretty much like the Maybelline Mousse, but with colours that suit my skin better. And also, cheaper.

I have heard of essence but I didn’t know they had all these products. I’ve seen their brand in CVS but in things like makeup brushes and sponges. These all look great and even better that’s it’s not expensive.
